Why should you join over 300 community college leaders from across the state at the NCACCT Leadership Seminar?  The role of a Community College Trustee is more important now than ever in the constantly changing landscape of higher education.  The seminar in September will include state-mandated training for new and reappointed trustees, and there will be presentations applicable to the work of all Trustees.  Sessions will focus on crisis management, Workforce Pell, economic trends, legislative updates, and other timely topics that are of utmost importance within the community college system in 2026 and beyond.   Above all, this event offers trustees a valuable forum to build relationships with fellow leaders statewide, including college Presidents, members of the State Board of Community Colleges and members of the System Office team.   In-person Ethics training will also be available, led by the NC Ethics Commission (This is completely separate from the NCACCT training sessions but is offered as a convenience for our members).   Space is limited, so register as soon as possible! A copy of the tentative draft agenda is available here.

To register, please contact your College Executive Assistant/Board Liaison.
